The following color coding scheme will be followed for messaging between partners and axelar team.

All emails will be sent with the following subject line:

CODE_<Colour>_ALERT_AXELARNET

We strongly encourage partners to keep us updated on their email addresses and to utilize a system like PagerDuty to alert team members about urgent issues. You can do this by alerting on CODE_{WILDCARD}_ALERT_AXELARNET as the subject line. Replace {WILDCARD} with your system’s wildcard, OR filter on the various color alerts.

Messaging & Action Procedure

  1. Upon receipt of a notice, please check either a) the signed message attached or b) the signed message included in the body. Most messages will include a response requirement. Please try to be as diligent as possible completing this action and responding to the alert within the SLA noted above.
  2. You should respond to the email AFTER upgrades/updates are completed.
  3. You can respond to the email at any time if you need help. You can also reach out on the Axelar Network Discord.

    3. You can also reach us on your private group in the Axelar Discord. If you do not have one, please reach out to [email protected] or contact an admin on the Discord and we will create one for you.

  4. Please only REPLY. Do not REPLY ALL. Our email groups have specially designated monitored email response groups.
  5. When replying to the email for upgrades/updates, you MUST include the following in the BODY TEXT (do not modify the subject line):

  1. It is vital to our operations that you respond to these emails in a timely manner! Please see the SLA requirements for response times above.
  2. We use automation to track responses!
    1. Your Moniker is logged by email address.
    2. We do filter by known Validator domains.
    3. We also maintain a Responder Email Database. This is especially important for responders using common free email domains.
    4. The Validators Email Group houses the email addresses you want to be notified with.
    5. To ensure the fastest and seamless logging of your response, please reach out on Discord and ensure we have either a) expected responder email addresses or b) the domain whitelisted for your Validator’s company or group. It is important that responses come from a known responder or domain!
